Elaboration of the project
At this stage, FELDO determines the materials needed for its wrist

The
prototype
The wrist watches prototype is a device identical to the final
object.
Therefore, it is similar both externally and mechanically to the final
wrist watches. This prototype is also used as a preparation for a series
production.
Wrist watches are formed by a case, a crown, a dial, some figures, a
strip, a pin, a glass, some hands and also the watch mechanism. All
these elements have been created as unique elements.
Such jobs require the highest concentration of all the participants.
Therefore, a goldsmith can spend even 8 hours for the preparation of
some brass figures.
Within the technical properties, it is also very important the creation
of a prototype to check the optics and technology provided by
FELDO.
At the end of the stage, every prototype is tested in a test phase.

The
test phase
At the
test phase the optical correction,
comfort, impermeability as
well as accuracy of wrist watches are tested.
This process takes several days and wrist watches are subjected to harsh

A
mini-series production
After all the prototype details have been tested and its failures have
been improved, a mini-series production starts. For FELDO a mass
production means a mini-series production giving priority to the
handicraft skills above all.
All this makes FELDO wrist
watches be exclusive and only few people in
the world will be able to wear original FELDO wrist watches.
The
mini-series production is performed with an exhaustive control and
wrist watches are tested again by a final inspector. Any minor fault or
variation is discarded.
Wrist watches can be restored to the required state thanks to a manual
reparation or they are again removed and discarded. You, as the
customer, will always receive only the highest quality wrist watches.. |

necessary tests to the wrist watches, a mini series production starts,
due to the fact that FELDO does not produce massively but its wrist
watches are exclusive.

limited editions just by few hundred of units (250 units). Only
relatively few people in the world can therefore possess these unique
wrist watches. The mini series production ends with an extremely
exhaustive final test so every wrist watch is tested by an inspector at
the end of the process.
